The story of Revelation Road 2: The Sea of Glass and Fire

Things have given a different turn for Josh (David A.R. White) in Revelation Road 2: The Sea of Glass and Fire Blu-Ray. Chaos has rapidly spread across the land. Rowdy gangs murder and rob whoever they encounter in their way. This outlaw gang is being led by an enraged and dangerous bandit named Hawg (Brian Bosworth). He had to encounter an unknown foreigner who recently had confronted the members of his gang at a gun store. After a few intensified moments at the store break-in, trouble is spread between the gang and the mysterious foreigner who is entangled in the center of it all. Lifeless bodies of some of the robbers lay on the floor and the mysterious person looks as if nothing happened just as he disappears.

In Revelation Road 2: The Sea of Glass and Fire, the foreigner's name is Josh McManus, a man regularly afflicted by his thoughts and memories, which are a result of his uncontrollable past. Josh befriends the gun shop proprietor who shares similar military involvement as him. The store owner tells his story and talks to Josh about Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Being a non-believer in other things but himself, Josh dismisses the idea of Jesus being the Savior. Still doubtful about Jesus he heads to a journey that will make him realize the truth.

Since Josh eliminated three members of the outlaw gang, Hawg and the rest of his followers want to get revenge and won't rest till they find Josh. He finds refuge in the gun shop owner's house but even there the gang are able to track him down. The outlaws circle the house and they encounter the shop owner who is armed and ready to confront them. But to the owner's dismay, bullets were fired and he and his family are apprehended. Suddenly in Revelation Road 2: The Sea of Glass and Fire Blu-Ray, a big spark of light covers them all, the glory of God was visiting them and before they could react some disappear. The shop owner and his family are among those who disappear. The Rapture had occurred. An old Bible prediction given to humanity for more than 2000 years before. The church is gone and a new period of disorder is upon them. There's suddenly no power, no service and a failing economy throughout the world. The darkness is getting a hold of humanities heart. Josh wants to return home to his wife and child but the trek will not be easy. He has to confront himself and his thoughts but also the rowdy gang who is looking for him wanting revenge.

Brian Bosworth in how Revelation Road 2 was an important part of his faith journey

Brian Bosworth plays angry and vengeful Hawg in Revelation Road 2: The Sea of Glass and Fire. To Brian it was significant to explain to the audience with more clarity why his character felt such anger and vengeance towards the Lord. To play that character the most truthful way possible, Bosworth channeled the anger he had felt for God for many years. He felt many people would identify with his character somehow because he had lost a loved one but had no power over it. Something that can happen to anyone throughout life. To portray that anger and frustration Brian would think of losing his career. He had felt that God had broken his promise to him taking away what he thought he needed most.

As audiences watch Revelation Road 2: The Sea of Glass and Fire Blu-Ray, Bosworth wants people to look at themselves. That when the event happens that people are sure that they're going to Jesus. To fix everything that needs to be fixed and not wait till the next day. Because we don't know how much time we have left, God is the only one who knows.

Being a former professional athlete has helped Brian Bosworth on his acting journey for Revelation 2: The Sea of Glass and Fire. Beforehand he had never been trained to be an actor and the thought of becoming one had never crossed his mind in the past. He never wanted to be an actor so that was part of the anger that he had to release. Working on the Revelation Road 2 film was the first project he read the script that caused an effect and confirmed that he had to play that character. To him preparing for the role was like preparing for a big game. To be instinctual and ready to respond to each play. To be aware that not every play will go as planned. And that he had to be real with everything and not have a fake outlook on it.
