A Return To Narnia

They have been dreaming of Narnia since they left, hoping and praying they could return again. Now, a year later the Pevensies Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy have all but given up hope. Then one ordinary day they were standing in the Underground station when suddenly they were transported to the beautiful shores of Narnia, just under the hill where they once reigned in Cair Paravel. Much has changed since the Pevensies left the beloved land of Narnia, yet many things have not. The land is still as magical as ever, the creatures just as endearing. The High Kings and Queens still hold a special place in the hearts of the Narnians, their just rule and heroic deeds live on. Narnia still finds itself the battleground between good and evil, the evil just as bad as ever before. Aslan is still good. Aslan is still faithful. C.S. Lewis' beloved second book of the Narnia series comes to life in Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, bringing valuable lessons and themes along with it. Sacrifice, perseverance, courage, and loyalty still lie at the heart of the Pevensie children, they still lie at the heart of the Narnian's battle. Despite immeasurable odds they stand bravely against the forces of evil, clinging to one another for strength and hope. The sacrifice Aslan made on their behalf still burns deeply in their minds, and though he may not be present, they feel his faithfulness. Yet, Aslan is faithful, and he will conquer the forces of darkness even if it may not be in the way they would desire. Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian is filled with adventure, action, stories of courage, heroes to admire, characters to love, laugh and cry with. The beloved land of Narnia still whispers underneath the layers of oppression, and although Alan may not be visible he is still there, waiting to be found. This film, based on C.S. Lewis' beloved book by the same title is sure to delight viewers young and old alike. Though Narnia may be 1300 years older, though Cair Paravel may be in ruins, though evil may once again hold the land in its grip, the battle is not over and the Sons of Adam and Daughters of Eve have returned. Join with Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy as they reclaim the titles of High Kings and Queens of Narnia, as they join with a new generation of Narnians to beat back the darkness in the name of Narnia, in the name of Aslan.

Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian has been rated PG by the Motion Picture Association of America for epic battle action and violence. This film received the "Family Approved" award for ages twelve and up from the Dove Foundation and four and a half out of five review from Focus on the Family's "Plugged In". As always, it is recommended that parents preview all content to determine what is suitable for their children, but the film Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian is generally considered appropriate for most older audiences.
