Don Piper is a Baptist minister on his way home after a minister's conference. Tragedy strikes when he collides with a semi-trailer. When paramedics arrive, Don is pronounced dead on scene from the severity of the wreckage. For an hour and a half after he is dead and the paramedics clean up the wreckage, but something odd happens to Don Piper.
He finds himself in Heaven, meeting with old friends and family who have passed away, experiencing the reward he knew awaited him at the end of his life and joining in with the faithful followers as he now belongs with them.
