Signed, Sealed, Delivered For Christmas

The letter detectives and postal workers at Colorado’s Dead Letter Office are always busy tracking down the intended recipients of missing letters. The holiday season, however, adds a whole new dimension to their already challenging job of uniting lost lovers, solving crimes, and changing futures with the letters and packages they deliver. When December rolls around, they must also play elves-- answering the letters sent to Santa from children everywhere that is. When the team of Postables receives a touching letter addressed to God from a little girl that wants her sick mother healed for Christmas, they must all band together like never before to work a Christmas miracle. From the favorite Hallmark series “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” comes a new heartwarming holiday film Signed, Sealed, Delivered For Christmas.

Signed, Sealed, Delivered Meets Christmas

The team of Postables at the Dead Letter Office from Signed, Sealed, Delivered For Christmas love their jobs, and they make a good team. There is the group’s traditional, gentlemanly mail enthusiast Oliver O’Toole (Eric Mabius), 21st century tech savvy Shane McInerney (Kristin Booth), fun-loving Rita Haywith (Crystal Lowe) who also boasts a photographic memory, and lovable Norman Dorman (Geoff Gustafson). Filled with a love for all things mystery, and a healthy thrill of the hunt, the group is in their element tracking down lost loves, stopping crimes, and altering the course of history with a simple delivery. At Christmas, however, they are forced with a new challenge-- Santa. Already busy at their nearly impossible job of getting lost letters to their intended recipients, they have also managed to somehow answer nearly 20,000 letters addressed to Santa. Somehow the hard working Postables mange to complete their sleigh load of letters before Christmas Eve and are ready for a well deserved break. They have one more challenge to tackle, however, and it comes in the form of a simple little envelope addressed to God. Inside they find a simple, heartfelt plea from a little girl who wants her ailing mother healthy for Christmas. Touched, the Postables set out on a mission to help the small child, but soon realize they might have to reclaim their own faith in miracles and Christmas before they can help create a Christmas miracle for another.

Christmas Miracles And Lessons

The movie Signed, Sealed, Delivered For Christmas is filled with all the ingredients that make up a perfect holiday story-- cocoa, cookies Christmas trees, snow, and a wonderful reminder of the meaning of the holiday. Tracking down individuals, and answering mountains and drifts of mail addressed to Santa certainly takes time, but the beloved Postables never stop their work until it is all done-- even when all they want is to sit down with a cup of cocoa and watch the snow lazily drift down. When a letter ruins their Christmas Eve celebrations, they steadfastly persevere until they find the sender, and they persevere to answer even the most unlikely of requests. Oliver, Shane, Rita, and Norman from the Dead Letter Office are reminders to all of us that perseverance will always pay off with wonderful rewards. The holiday film Signed, Sealed, Delivered For Christmas is also a reminder to never give up hope, and never loose faith. When the Postables receive a letter from the daughter of a dying woman, they must all remember not to give up hope. The little girl’s letter is a reminder to all of them that hope is never gone. As they search for a way to give her a Christmas miracle, they must all fight their own doubts and remember that faith is central to miracles, and faith is central to the spirit of Christmas. Another lesson families can learn from the movie Signed, Sealed, Delivered For Christmas is that joy can be found even in the darkest of places. As the Postables struggle to answer the heartfelt plea of a little girl, they must remember that Christmas is a season of joy, and that happiness can hide in the most unexpected of places. They also learn that the answers to prayers sometimes take the most unexpected shapes, and that answers come in unexpected ways. Signed, Sealed, Delivered For Christmas is a film about perseverance, joy, hope, and most importantly that faith is at the center of Christmas, at the center of miracles, and especially at the center of Christmas miracles.
