The Moment After is a Christian film that chronicles the lives of two FBI agents, Adam Riley and Charles Baker. Masses of people have suddenly disappeared, throwing the world into confusion. Riley and Baker are called in to investigate the many disappearances. Their mission is to interview the relatives of those who have gone missing and try to shed some light on the situation.

As the two agents come very close to finding the answer to the case, the President of the United States orders that all FBI field agents be taken off the case. Instead of investigating the disappearances, they are ordered to find and arrest a man named Krause. This man, a Jewish Rabbi who has been preaching the Word of God, is labeled dangerous by the president. Later that night, Riley goes to see the pastor at his church. The two begin discussing the Biblical depiction of the Rapture and the end times, and start to wonder if this is what has happened on earth. Riley's pastor is determined that Krause is one of the 144,000 left to convert the remaining souls on earth to Christ.

Baker, however, is not convinced that any of this has anything to do with the end times. He does not believe in God and disagrees with Riley's assessment of the situation. The two agents finally locate Krause, and Baker immediately arrests him. Krause begins to go into more details regarding the mark of the beast and the rapture that has happened. The three stop at a gas station and Baker goes inside. While he is inside, Riley drives off with Krause in an attempt to evade the law. Baker finally catches up to them and charges Riley with harboring a fugitive. However, when his car is searched, Krause is no longer there.

Riley is arrested and taken to military prison, and Baker is fired from his job. Krause returns the mountaintop where the two agents found him, and continues on his mission to convert those remaining on earth. This gripping movie is full of action and suspense and will leave viewers curious about the subject of the end times.

David A.R. White and PureFlix

The Moment After features two FBI field agents, one of which is played by renowned Christian actor, David A.R. White. Not only did White star in this movie, it was also the first movie that he ever produced. He realized his love for producing and became deeply inspired to continue in the Christian film industry.

After producing this movie, he continued in several more acting roles, but did not produce another movie until 2012. He is a co-founder of Pure Flix Entertainment, a Christian movie distribution and production company. Many of the films released by PureFlix star White himself.

Perhaps the most famous movie produced by PureFlix thus far is the feature film God's Not Dead. It was a long-awaited film that promised to be a powerful message of the existence of God.

Their next film, Do You Believe? garnered much attention and was anticipated by many who enjoyed their earlier film, God's Not Dead. Do You Believe? focuses on that one simple question. It follows the lives of twelve different characters as they are presented with different struggles and must figure out how to make it through them. The answer lies in believing that God will see them through their difficulties.

David A.R. White has completely dedicated himself to producing wholesome and quality content for Christian families to enjoy. The Moment After was the start of a wonderful career that has led to him having a great outreach in the world.

Speculation Regarding the Rapture

The study of the end times and the rapture is not an obscure topic. Instead, it is widely discussed and some have even tried to predict when it was going to happen. In 1844, a man named William Miller proclaimed that the rapture was going to happen that year and that Christ would return. However, when his prophecy was not fulfilled, he recanted his statement, blaming it on a miscalculation of Scripture.

Several times throughout history, groups of Jehovah's Witnesses have attempted to predict when the rapture was going to happen. In 1978, a man named Chuck Smith predicted that the world was going to end by 1981. Smith was a very influential leader within the Calvary Chapel movement. When his prediction of the end times failed to come true, many were disillusioned and left the church.

In 1994, a radio evangelist named Harold Camping began promoting the fact that he knew when the rapture was going to happen. He was positive that Christ would return and take his followers with him on September 6^th, 1994. When this did not happen, Camping went silent for a while. He emerged again in 2010, claiming that the rapture was actually going to take place on May 21^st, 2011. Many people believed him and began to make preparations for the day of judgment. When May 21^st arrived and nothing happened, many became extremely upset with Camping for falsely predicting the rapture twice in a row. Camping, unfortunately, did not learn his lesson and spoke out once more. He claimed that he was not wrong about the date in May, but that a non-visible "spiritual judgment" had taken place. Once again, he claimed that the rapture was going to take place on October 21^st of that same year. Fewer people believed him, as his claims in the past did not come true. Those who did believe in him were disappointed a third time as the rapture did not take place.

The Bible clearly states that we do not know the day or the hour when Jesus will return and should not make false predictions about such topics. The Moment After does not place a specific date on the return of Christ, but focuses instead on the turmoil following such an event.

The Moment After is rated PG by the Motion Picture Association of America for mild violence and moments of intensity. As always, it is recommended that parents preview all content to determine what is suitable for their family.
